The Continents
Please allow me to explain how the maps work:
If a country's name is in all caps, then it is independent.
If there are 2 countries next to each other that are the same color, one owns the other.
If a country is conquered, you can tell because its name is not in caps, and the country that owns it is in parentheses below it. Also, the conquered country is the same color as its conqueror.
If a country has no name in it and is not the same color as its neighbor, then it is empty and can be claimed as a new country.
Do not be confused by two countries that are the same color and do not touch. Color is not the only way to tell.
To make a country, you must choose one of the empty slots in the world. But where to put it? There are six continents on Kraine to choose from. They are:
Malconia
Bagourque
Dirkinslak
Morissia
Hatoria
Strilzania
Note that the continents' pictures on their individual pages are not to scale with each other. If you want to see their relative sizes and locations, here is a map of the world:
